Advisory: Senator Ron Johnson to Participate in Small Business Event

Oshkosh, WI – Senator Ron Johnson will participate in a National Association of Convenience Stores event at the Kwik Trip store in McFarland, where he will interact with employees, customers and business owners and experience firsthand the economic opportunity and wide range of products and services convenience stores provide the public. 

WHO: Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI), Steve Loehr, VP Operations Support, Kwik Trip Inc., and incoming chairman of the National Association of Convenience Stores 

WHAT: Senator Johnson will receive “clerk training,” will work behind the counter and talk about issues important to the business and the community 

WHERE:  Kwik Trip 4701 Farwell St. McFarland, WI 53558 

WHEN: Aug. 21, 2014 at 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.                       

WHY: This is one of a series of events organized by NACS nationwide to offer members of Congress an up-close look at how these vital small businesses address a range of policy imperatives in America — providing a continuous source of entry-level jobs, economic growth, access to competitively priced consumer products and services for underserved areas, and affordable supplies of 80 percent of the gasoline sold in our country.
