Johnson Statement on Terrorist Attacks in Paris

OSHKOSH, WI — Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, made these remarks about the terrorist attacks in Paris.

“The latest barbaric attacks in Paris demonstrate that free nations remain vulnerable to acts of terrorism.  We must remain vigilant.  These are attacks against civilization — they are attacks against us all.  America must show leadership, strength and resolve as we stand with those who have stood with us from the beginning to preserve our liberty and our very way of life.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, their families and the people of France.”
