Washington, D.C. – Senator Ron Johnson (WI) released the following statement regarding the President’s nomination of Wisconsin resident William Mielke to the St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation:

“I am pleased to learn that the President has nominated Waukesha’s Bill Mielke to the St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. Mr. Mielke is well qualified and I hope the Senate will move quickly to confirm him to the post.”

Mr. Mielke is currently the President and CEO of Waukesha’s Ruekert – Mielke.
