Sen. Johnson Cosponsors Suicide Prevention for American Veterans Act

Senator Johnson voted in favor of the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention for American Veterans Act. He later remarked, “Our veterans, the finest among us, need to receive the best health care and the finest service possible from the Department of Veterans Affairs." Read more  here.

Sen. Johnson Sends Letter to EPA

Senator Johnson sent letters on Tuesday to the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency and to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ commanding general and chief of engineers asking for details about the agencies’ consultations with states, the agencies’ outreach to the agricultural community, and the agencies’ evaluation of their legal authority as it pertains to the proposed “Waters of the United States” rule. Sen. Johnson Introduces Resolution Condemning Attacks by Russian-Backed Rebels

Senators Ron Johnson and Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) introduced a resolution Thursday condemning the attacks by Russian-backed rebels on civilians in Mariupol, Ukraine, and calling on the president to provide effective aid to the government of Ukraine. Read more here.

HSGAC Examines Consequences of President's Immigration Actions

Senator Johnson held his second hearing as chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC) on Wednesday, Feb. 4. It was titled “Deferred Action on Immigration: Implications and Unanswered Questions.” Watch the full hearing below or read about it  here.
