2019 Gray Wolf Rule Meeting
On Friday, May 3, Senator Johnson will host a meeting to provide interested parties with an opportunity to formally submit public comments on the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s (FWS) proposed rule to remove gray wolves in the lower 48 states from the endangered species list.
Representatives from the FWS will attend and will provide a presentation on the specifics of the proposed rule. Federal and state government officials, including members of the Minnesota and Wisconsin congressional delegations, have been invited to attend. Attendees who wish to offer a few minutes of verbal comments on the proposed rule will be offered the opportunity to speak, but only written comments will be accepted as part of the official FWS record.
This event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Hudson House Grand Hotel, 1616 Crestview Drive, Hudson, Wisconsin 54016.
