WASHINGTON—This week, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) joined Fox News’ “Hannity” and Fox Business’ “Mornings with Maria” to discuss how President Biden’s actions have weakened America at home and abroad.

On Biden’s policy failures:

“The person really with the white flag is President Biden. First day or two of office, what did he do? He canceled the Keystone XL Pipeline. He relaxed sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 Pipeline, which is a clear signal to Putin that we're going to be weak. We're going to let you walk all over us. I continue to wonder to what extent President Biden is compromised. Just about every action he has taken as President has weakened America. He opens the border. We have an unbelievable, out-of-control flow of illegal immigrants. Out-of-control deficit spending. 7% inflation at a 40 year high. The embarrassing and dangerous surrender in Afghanistan. This is weakness. This is real weakness. He is weakening America. Our enemies perceive that. They’re noticing it, and they're becoming more aggressive. They're taking advantage of the situation. Russia is surrounding Ukraine. China is over-flying Taiwan. Iran is getting more active in Yemen. North Korea is testing new weapons. This is across the board. The bad actors around the world are perceiving our weakness. When America is not strong, and I agree with President Reagan, you achieve peace through strength. On Biden’s failure to unite the country:

“I started my questioning by asking her whether she agreed with President Biden’s inaugural address when he said his number one goal was to unify and heal this nation. She did and then I asked her, do you think a year in, is our nation more unified? Are we healing? And she said I think not. I agreed with her. So here it is, the number one goal of President Biden and his own nominee to be the special envoy agreed with me that we are not more united, we are not healing. That’s a real indictment against President Biden, and it is an indictment against Democrats. They are not trying to heal the nation. They are exacerbating the divide. It’s just so unfortunate. I want to heal this nation. I want to heal the racial divide. I’ve done everything in my life to do so, and yet you get accused of these things. It’s malicious poison that they are spewing, and they never get called on it because the mainstream media are their allies.” (Sen. Johnson, ‘Hannity,’ 2/8/22)

On COVID-19 corruption:

“COVID has revealed so much corruption in our federal health agencies, in our medical journals, in our medical establishments and of course in these international organizations as well. This is way too little too late. I think what's happening, Maria, is the dam is breaking. The truth is getting out. These people, I call them the COVID gods, let's call them the COVID cartel, they can't afford to be proven wrong. The body count is way too high. 900,000 people in the U.S., more than five and a half million people globally. They have been wrong. They didn't push early treatment. These vaccines are not as safe and effective as we all hoped and prayed they would be. They're not willing to own up to that fact. They’re clinging to their failed mismanagement of this pandemic, and they're not going to admit they're wrong. The problem is because the media and the big tech giants are complicit in the cover-up, in the censorship.
