On the disaster that has been the Biden administration and Democrat governance

“I’m sure the president is going to try and put lipstick on this pig. The problem is there’s not enough lipstick in the world to cover up for the disaster that has been his administration and Democrat governance. I mean, you talk about the open border. You talk about 40-year high inflation that he sparked with his massive deficit spending when we didn’t need to do that. His war on fossil fuels, the embarrassing and dangerous surrender in Afghanistan, all these things have weakened this country, emboldened our enemies, put the world in flames, and how do you cover that up? The fact that his 40-year high inflation took the value of your dollar, at the start of this administration down to $0.85. That’s not going away. People are feeling that pain. So, you know, I’m sure he’s going to try. I’m sure that most of the mainstream media is going to try and cover up for him. But the reality of the situation is people are hurting and Joe Biden and Democrat governance caused it.”

On Biden blaming Republicans for the border crisis he caused

“What he certainly ought to do is also embrace the bill that the House just passed, the Laken Riley Act, or the Senate pass my amendment, which would defund any sanctuary city that doesn’t honor DHS [Department of Homeland Security] and ICE [Immigration Customs and Enforcement] requests to detain people or give notice that they’re going to release dangerous criminals. These tragedies didn’t have to happen. It’s not just Laken. It’s a little two-year-old caught in the crossfire. There’s a 14-year-old girl who was brutally raped, and that’s just scratching the surface. But let’s face it, this President will blame Republicans for the open border that he wanted and that he caused.”

On Biden’s angry and divisive speech

“Well, it was a speech by an angry old man. If things are all that great, if everything's coming up roses, you'd think he'd be in a better mood. You think he wouldn't be so angry. But the problem is, it's not coming up roses. Our nation is in deep, deep trouble…

“So he gets all angry, blames everybody else. And that was probably most galling at the end of the speech. He was talking about how he's President for all Americans. Now he has painted half of America as potentially domestic terrorists. He's weaponized his federal agencies against Americans. Again, he falsely accused Republicans of the exact same thing he does. He's destroying this country. He's destroying our Republican democracy.”

On the dangers of Big Tech and the threat that China poses to the U.S.

“Well listen, China is fighting America on all fronts. You know, it was the Biden administration that canceled the China Initiative, which was a way to investigate Chinese theft of our intellectual property on university systems. It is China that is flooding fentanyl precursor chemicals into Mexico. To come through our open border. It's China that is sending military-age men to the Darien Gap to assemble and come into this country. So this is an all-out assault on behalf of China to weaken America. And unfortunately, President Biden's policies are allowing it to happen…

“Well, it does start with parental control. You know, there are some great documentaries, The Social DilemmaThe Creepy Line that I would recommend every American parent watch so they understand the dangers of social media, including TikTok, on the child's mental health. You know, there are benefits to Big Tech social media giants, but there are some real dangers, including TikTok and Chinese influence through TikTok. So this starts with parental control. And I think we need to take a serious look at exactly how China is using TikTok. You know, again, I'm a free market guy, so I'm always a little concerned about bans, but this is a serious issue. But from my standpoint, there are much more dangerous things that China is doing. The fentanyl, the military-age men coming through our southern border, the theft of our intellectual property. Again, this is an across-the-board assault on our country by China.”
