Righting Unconscionable Wrongs
Voices of the Vaccine Injured
During my July 15 Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations Senate hearing, Voices of the Vaccine Injured, we heard from those whose lives were devastated by vaccine injuries and deaths, as well as fatal diseases that vaccines were intended to prevent.
All of the witnesses presented powerful testimony and engaged in respectful discussion. I believe all of these stories needed to be told and heard. I sincerely hope that the hearing helped to bridge the gap and demonstrate how to heal and unify our horribly divided nation. Watch my opening statement here.

- Dr. Robert Sullivan is a licensed physician and board certified anesthesiologist with over 20 years of active practice in Maryland. In his testimony, Dr. Sullivan talked about his vaccine injury following COVID-19 injection.
- Krystle Cordingley is a public scientist with over 20 years of experience in the medical field. In her testimony, Cordingley talked about her son, Corbyn, who died following quadrivalent flu vaccination.
Fixing the Broken Vaccine Injury Compensation Program
In related news, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.announced plans to fix the broken Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP). He said he will not allow the VICP to continue to ignore its mandate and fail its mission of quickly and fairly compensating vaccine-injured individuals.
I applaud this move. It's time to right these unconscionable wrongs.

Helping Military Wrongfully Terminated Under COVID Mandate
And finally, I’ve asked the Department of Defense to brief my office on their efforts to reinstate and provide back pay to service members wrongfully terminated under Biden’s COVID-19 injection mandate.
Dismissing thousands of service members for refusing the experimental COVID-19 shot was an unwarranted act that damaged our military. Thankfully, President Trump and Secretary of Defense Hegseth have taken steps to right this wrong, but some troops are still fighting for their rights.

White House Signing Ceremony
Congratulations to Wisconsinites Lauri Badura and Tim Westlake on the signing of the HALT Fentanyl Act into law on July 16 at the White House. Thanks to Lauri and Tim's tireless efforts for years to move fentanyl to a Schedule I classification under the Controlled Substances Act, this new law will save lives.
The HALT Fentanyl Act incorporates the permanent scheduling of fentanyl-related substances, which I first introduced in 2017 in the Stopping Overdoses of Fentanyl Analogues Act (SOFA). It ensures law enforcement has the tools they need to stop fentanyl's flow into our country.
I was honored to witness President Trump sign the act into law.

Holding Government Accountable
Investigating the Russia Collusion Hoax
DNI Tulsi Gabbard is providing documentation proving that the Russia collusion hoax was between President Obama, his henchmen, and their co-conspirators in the media. They fabricated the lie and created the political turmoil that exists to this day. They are the danger to our democracy by conducting their war against it.
Recess Appointments
Chuck Schumer destroyed Senate comity and is leading unprecedented obstruction of the confirmation process. Republicans should fix what Schumer broke and allow President Trump to staff his administration.
Trump Assassination Attempt Investigation
One year following the assassination attempt of President Trump, the American people still do not have answers to all of their questions about the breakdown of security at the Butler campaign rally and detailed information about the would-be assassin, Thomas Crooks. I had expected the FBI to be more forthcoming with the public and provide my office with the records we have been seeking for months. I am issuing the subpoena to help prompt transparency and I look forward to Director Patel’s full cooperation.
Biden's Declining Mental and Physical Health
My investigation into President Biden's cognitive decline is focusing on his cabinet members – who would have been responsible for implementing the 25th amendment. As we conduct interviews, we'll be creating a historical record of what actually happened in Biden's White House. It's going to take some time, but Americans deserve the truth.
I sent a letter to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) requesting documents and communications about former President Biden’s declining mental and physical health over the course of his presidency. This letter follows my requests to former Biden cabinet officials to voluntarily appear for interviews before his Subcommittee to discuss the former president’s mental and physical health.
Student Summer Experiences
Congratulations to Wisconsin's delegates for American Legion's Boys Nation and the American Legion Auxiliary's Girls Nation.
Two delegates from each State program are selected to serve as "senators" in a week of mock sessions in Washington, D.C.
Left to right: Joshua Mims from Menomonee Falls High School, Alba Meyers from Brookfield Central High School, Brooke Herda from Slinger High School, and Charles Sanderson-Haque from Edgerton High School.
Congratulations to Autumn Gunderson from Deforest Area High School for earning a spot in the U.S. Senate Page Program this summer.
Autumn learned about the Page Program through pageantry as the 2025 Miss America’s Teen's page. She is also a children's book author.
Pages play an important role in the daily operation of the Senate. They live in Washington, D.C. and attend Page School while working in the U.S. Senate. Pages deliver correspondence and legislative material within the Capitol and Senate office buildings, prepare the Chamber for Senate sessions, and work on the Senate floor.
Contact my office and the Senate Page Coordinator for more information on the program for 16 or 17-year-olds in their junior year of high school. We are now taking applications for Spring 2026. The deadline to apply is September 15, 2025.
Thank you to all the summer interns working in my various offices in Wisconsin and Washington, D.C. We offer internship opportunities year-round for college students. Pictured above are the summer interns working in my DC office located in the Hart Senate Office Building.
Pictured here are two of the three Milwaukee interns who attended my speaking event with the Milwaukee Press Club this summer.
