Failure to Warn
Downplaying COVID Vaccine Safety Risk
As Chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, my committee uncovered more evidence revealing yet another instance of the Biden administration’s failure to take immediate action to warn the public about a serious COVID-19 vaccine adverse event.
I just released nearly 2,000 pages of records from the Department of Health and Human Services showing the Biden administration’s failure to immediately warn the public about a serious safety concern linked to the Pfizer COVID-19 booster that they discovered as early as Nov. 2022.
Here is a clip from a Jan. 2023 HHS “communications plan” with edits from Biden officials downplaying the significance of the ischemic stroke safety signal.

Rather than immediately issue a formal warning to the public, documents show that in Dec. 2022, the Biden White House and HHS pushed to “increase uptake of the booster” for people 65 years and older.

- On March 23, I gave opening remarks (pictured above) for Aaron Siri who spoke at the Trump Kennedy Center. I told the crowd I believe Siri is the most consequential lawyer of my lifetime for the work he has done on behalf of the vaccine injured. Watch my remarks here.
- On March 19, I testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, & Pensions about two pieces of legislation near and dear to my heart. Enhancing Right to Try and Right To Treat would put doctors at the top of the treatment pyramid and give patients more flexibility and autonomy.
Status Quo is Not Working
We can’t even fund the very agency designed to protect our homeland during a war with Iran. That’s why I support ending the 60-vote threshold and eliminating the filibuster.
I've written two op-eds published in the past couple weeks about why Senate rules need to change.

Social Security: Facts & Path Forward
The Senate Budget Committee held a hearing on March 25 entitled "Social Security: A Discussion on the Facts and the Path Forward."
It's important to lay out the grim facts about Social Security and how it has been grossly mismanaged. We have to be honest with the American people.
