Questioning the science of COVID-19 vaccine mandates
Well before President Joe Biden’s ill-advised and divisive vaccine mandate announcement, I had been hearing from doctors, nurses, first responders, college students, and others facing the life-altering decision of having to choose between losing their job or enrollment or being coerced into taking a vaccine they do not want. Many of these individuals have already been infected and recovered from COVID-19 and have natural immunity, which, unfortunately, is not being recognized in lieu of a vaccine.

Vaccine Mandates Shouldn’t Be The Next COVID Policy Disaster
The determined push for indiscriminate vaccination of the previously infected, of pregnant women, and of children causes me to ask questions. There is still much we don’t know about Covid-19. I tried not to be critical of officials forced to make tough decisions with limited, imperfect information. But as new information becomes available, it’s a matter of life and death to integrate what we learn into future policy decisions.

Getting vaccinated is a personal choice
No one should be shamed, coerced, or mandated to take COVID-19 vaccines that are being allowed under an emergency use authorization. An Israeli study showed that natural immunity from having had COVID-19 is at least as effective as vaccine immunity. Natural immunity occurs with most other viruses, so why would anyone assume that wouldn’t be true for SARS-CoV-2?

Spending Blowout Imposes Costs Beyond the Enormous Price Tag
I left the private sector in 2010 to campaign for the U.S. Senate. I began serving in 2011, when the country’s total national debt was $14 trillion. At $28 trillion, it is now double that, with trillions more guaranteed to be added over the next few years. Where has all the money gone? Where will all the money go? No one really knows. Few seem to care.

Biden's border crisis – here are tragedies I saw during tour of Texas migrant facilities
During Friday’s tour of the Rio Grande with 18 of my Republican Senate colleagues, our boat slowed down to prevent its wake from disturbing a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol craft stationed near the shoreline. The Texas Department of Public Safety officer commanding our boat pointed out a dead body floating in the water that the CBP boat was responding to. That corpse was just one of many tragic things we witnessed during our two-day trip to the border near McAllen, Texas.

I Won’t Be Silenced by the Left
They twisted what I said about Jan. 6 because they want Americans to forget last summer’s violence and destruction. I’m amazed but not surprised. Those who seek political advantage by dividing the nation hurl the worst possible accusations to silence anyone who challenges their left-wing agenda.

YouTube Cancels the U.S. Senate
Google’s YouTube has ratcheted up censorship to a new level by removing two videos from a U.S. Senate committee. They were from a Dec. 8 Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs hearing on early treatment of Covid-19. One was a 30-minute summary; the other was the opening statement of critical-care specialist Pierre Kory.

Mainstream Media Drops All Pretense of Objectivity
The mainstream media have dropped all pretense of objectivity and can no longer be trusted. It’s well past time for the media to look in the mirror and acknowledge the role their bias has played in widening our national divide and exacerbating the problem.
