In December 2021, I entered a local hospital seeking treatment for COVID. We chose this hospital because months earlier, politician Col. Allen West had received ivermectin, Budesonide, and Hydroxychloroquine at this hospital. What I experienced there changed my life forever and exposed me to a system that abandoned individualized patient care in favor of rigid protocols, coercion, isolation, and fear.
When the hospitalist learned that I was unvaccinated, he looked directly at me, patted me on the hand and stated, “I’m sorry Mrs. Seiler, but you are going to die.” From that moment forward, I was treated as though my death was expected and inevitable.
