SAVE America Act
Americans don’t want their legitimate votes canceled out by fraudulent ones. Across the political spectrum, people need to feel confident that our elections are legitimate, regardless of the outcome. The SAVE America Act will boost confidence by requiring proof of citizenship to register and a photo ID to vote.
I had a great meeting with President Trump, Senator Rick Scott, and Senator Mike Lee in the Oval Office. We all agree 100% with President Trump on this issue and are working to get this passed in the Senate.
If we don’t secure our elections by requiring voter ID and allowing only U.S. citizens to vote, we won’t have a country. Republicans in Congress must pull out all stops to pass the SAVE America Act!
Investigating Minnesota
The Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee held an Oversight Hearing on immigration enforcement in Minnesota.
During my questioning of Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, he admitted to knowing about the training of radical left agitators that impede law enforcement and put themselves in harm's way. As the state’s chief law enforcement officer, he should prosecute obstruction of justice, not encourage and enable it.
As a reminder, here’s a video of AG Ellison encouraging protesters that their “sacrifice is important” and that they will win because people “are putting their bodies on the line.” He, and other Democrat leaders, encouraged their trained activists to put themselves into harm's way. As a result, they got their martyrs. And now he smirks about it.

Minnesota Fraud Investigation
As Chair of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, we are investigating fraud in Minnesota and demanding an audit and inspection records from the Minnesota Department of Human Services. This after public reporting, including a YouTube video by Nick Shirley, that highlighted potentially $111 million in improper payments and fraud at child care centers across Minnesota.
Given the pervasiveness of fraud, it is past time for Minnesota to answer for its apparent failure to safeguard taxpayer dollars.

Wisconsin Manufacturing
It was great to see so many Wisconsin manufacturing leaders in Washington, DC.
On February 11, I spoke at the Wisconsin Manufacturing & Commerce breakfast, one of many events the group attended during the week.
We discussed tariffs, energy policy, and immigration. It is my ongoing priority to work toward a more efficient and fiscally responsible government that allows the free market to thrive and Wisconsin businesses succeed.
Joseph Project Milwaukee
Congratulations to the February class (Class #178) of Joseph Project graduates in Milwaukee. My staff and volunteers work with people every month who are ready to find success through work. After a week-long job preparation curriculum, these graduates are given the opportunity to interview with employers who are ready to hire.
